Tickets, please advice

Hello, my trip madrid.sevilla.valencia.barcelona in July

my questions:

What entrance & tickets I must buy months in advance?
what I should buy online? ( to avoid lines) but don't need advance time or will not be available to buy yet
what dont need either and I can buy them the day before? or in place

any tips for discounts?

thanks

Really the main ones to be concerned about are in Barcelona, if you are planning on seeing Familia Sagrada Basilica, Parc Guell, or other Gaudi sites. Those you might want to buy when available and you know your schedule.

For Madrid, buying a couple weeks ahead for the Prado and Palace will give you a choice of times and days, most everything else is pretty accessible.

For Seville and Granada, going on the specific app and buying tickets the day before, or day of works fine

The Alhambra looks to be sold out thru end of May. I personally wouldn't wait till last minute for some of the more popular sights.

We are in Seville right now. I can tell you that I wish we would have purchased our tickets for the Alcazar and the Cathedral at least TWO months in advance. Otherwise getting in line for a ticket to the Alcazar the day of your visit means you will need to be in line no later than 7 AM, and the ticket office opens at 9 AM. We got in line at 8:10 this morning and the line was so long. They told us that it would already be sold out. The tickets online for the Cathedral are also selling two months out as I give this reply. We also purchased our tickets for the Alhambra in Granada a month in advance and almost did not find any tickets. Two months early would be ideal.
