Any recommendations for which kind of ticket to purchase for Sagrada Familia. My daughter and I will be in Barcelona for 3 days in October. There are so many options on sites like Viator that it is mind boggling ! The actual Sagrada Familia site is much simpler with only 4 types of tickets. Thank You
Depends whether you want to tackle the towers. I was quite satisfied with a normal entry, but then I had recent vertigo issues that meant walking down a spiral staircase was more than I could safely do. You have to decide what would satisfy you. Book direct. Pay attention to sunrise and su set. I was there in March later in the afternoon and the setting sun was streaming through the windows making it quite magical.
We bought the basic ticket from the official site, which includes audio guide. and were very happy with it. The main thing is to reserve for the first time slot in the morning so you are there for "quiet hour". So reserve ASAP. The space fills up very quickly. Don't skip the small schoolhouse outside the Passion Facade. The contrast of scale with the Temple is wonderful, and it displays Gaudi's mastery of simple structural systems at a scale that is easier to comprehend.
I bought the guided tour option from the official site; I would recommend.
Thank you all. These are great ideas. Especially about paying attention to sunrise & sunset and quiet hours !
We bought tickets straight from the official site. There are several sites that appear official but the cost is less through the church’s site. Get their app from the apple App Store and buy from there. Good luck.
Thank you very much
Never use Viator. Book directly from the official site.
