Hi all, we will be in Barcelona Friday Oct 11 to Monday Oct 14 (flying out on the 14th) and want to get advance tickets for an early morning self-guided tour of Familia Sagrada. I would appreciate any tips on which day is best to go as well as some online sites to purchase the tickets. Thanks very much!

How about using the official Sagrada Familia website to buy your tickets? That's what we did.

I think Friday would be better, but if you are just arriving in Barcelona on Friday, you may not make an early morning tour on Friday. So either Saturday or Sunday.

Ditto, go to the direct site. I just purchased mine for September. They go on sale 30 days in advance, so I set an alarm and made sure to purchase early. The audio guide is quite good and you can go at your own pace. This is my 3rd visit there, and I find the lighting in the early evening best although first thing in the morning is also spectacular and may be fewer crowds. Once you get there you still have to wait in line a bit but once in you can stay as long as you like. A heads up, if you want to do one of the towers be aware that is an elevator ride up and the only way down is a steep spiraling staircase, much of it without railings or handholds. If you suffer from claustrophobia or have a fear of heights skip the climb. Make sure to fit in the other Gaudi sites as well!
