Three Kings Parade in Malaga

We plan to be in Malaga on January 5. Anyone have any experience with being in town for the the Three Kings Parade in Malaga? Our kids are teenagers, but we'd like to see this tradition in action! Any tips on where to go or how to navigate on this day?
Thanks in advance,

Here’s a link I found for the festivities. Another link with just a little information. Those are the only things I could find. For an idea of the types of festivities that take place look at 2023’s schedule.

This was the parade route in 2023.

Málaga
The Three Kings will leave the Alcazaba just before 5:00pm and make their way down to the Town Hall.
The official parade will start at 6:00 pm and make its way through the city’s main streets and avenues. This is the route the parade will follow:
Avenida de Cervantes, Plaza del General Torrijos, Paseo del Parque, Plaza de La Marina, Alameda Principal, Puente de Tetuán, Calle Nazareno del Paso, Calle Hilera, Puente de la Esperanza, Calle Prim, Calle Atarazanas, Calle Puerta del Mar, Alameda Principal, Plaza de la Marina and finishing up in Cortina del Muelle.. From there, their majesties will walk down to the main Cathedral where there will also be a live music concert.

The Three Kings Parade is probably the biggest event during our Christmas season in Spain, which lasts until January 6. In the Basque Country we get our presents from the Olentzero (a coal maker that lives in the mountains), in Catalonia it´s the Tió de Nadal (a wooden log that expels presents from his butt), in other parts of Spain it´s Papá Noel...but a common thing for all Spain is the Three Magi Parade, in addition to these other characters. They normally start around 6pm and last more or less two hours. This past January the parade in Málaga followed this itinerary, Ayuntamiento de Málaga, Avda. de Cervantes, Plaza General Torrijos, Paseo del Parque, Plaza de la Marina, Alameda Principal, Puente de Tetuán, Calle Nazareno del Paso, Calle Hilera, Puente de la Esperanza, Calle Prim, Calle Atarazanas, Calle Puerta del Mar, Alameda Principal, Plaza de la Marina, Cortina del Muelle, Ayuntamiento de Málaga. 20,000 kilos of sweets are thrown from the 16 floats that compose the parade, three of them carrying a Magic King each, with helpers and dwarfs. Music, dances, noise, kids with mouths open...a parade for all families and much, much fun to see.
