Hi All -
I will be heading to the North of Spain and South of France next month and was wondering if its worthwhile to take some time out of my trip to stop in Andorra la Vella? Has anyone been? I'd love to hear your experience.
Thanks

“wondering if its worthwhile to take some time out of my trip to stop in Andorra la Vella?”
In a word, no.
I spent extended time with friends who owned a hotel in Encamp, one of the Andorran villages. It’s nice enough, but with lots of not particularly attractive shops and hotels. There are some Romanesque churches but nothing of compelling interest. The mountains are great but there are more picturesque parts of the Pyrenees in France and Catalunya.
I agree with djp_syd. Last time I drove through Andorra I was looking for some reason to stop, some interesting small town to make it worth while to stop. Found nothing. The mountains are pretty, but that's about it. I too found the shops uninteresting.
