Barcelona, Madrid. Sevilla, Granada aside, there must be at least 10 more we can add to this list ...
Segovia
Salamanca
Vitoria-Gasteiz
La Coruna
Zaragoza
Toledo
Murcia
Santiago de Compostela
Bilbao
Almeria
Cadiz
Leon
Girona
Cordoba
Valladolid
Valencia & San Sebastian!
Jerez - sherry & horses!
Teruel
Cuenca
Caceres
Trujillo
Ciudad Rodrigo
Pontevedra
Burgos
Oviedo
All worth spending the night in, though some may be small enough to call the term "city" into question.
I think the only place that I was a little disappointed in my roughly 9 weeks of travels in Spain over 3 trips, was Tarragona, and that was because of my expectations for great Roman ruins. I still enjoyed my day there and I'm glad I went.
Soooo . . . . in my experience, every Spanish city should be visited !!
The list specified cities, as opposed to towns or villages.
... you're right, sorry, fixed it.
PS. Btw... get better :)
