Some incredible images out of Madrid yesterday, as a massive late summer storm, with hail and rain, flooded the city, sweeping away cars and flooding the metro, even a tornado was spotted near Malaga!

@Bets - I have not seen something like this before! Sure it snows in Madrid from time to time, but this kind of hail and rain in August is really craziness. Earlier in the summer there was an incredible rainfall in Barcelona too, like never before, they had to shutdown the Barcelona airport for several hours.

While here at the other end of the Med, we barely get any rain in winter, none the rest of the year.
