The best ticket option for visiting Alhambra

I am visiting Alhambra on 9th November and it is a bit confusing to buy the Alhambra ticket. Because it would be great to have an experience on a night visit but it does not included in Alhambra general. Is it a great idea to buy a separate ticket for a night visit to nasrid and a day visit to gardens, generalife and alcazaba?

Not to me, because seeing the Nasrid Palace at night was not nearly as impressive as during the day. At night you only see part of the palace, and the spotlights don't show off the complex to its best advantage compared with natural light. I know Rick promotes the night and day visits as almost equal, but to me, the day visit was clearly superior.

So, if you do want a night visit to the Nasrid Palace, then buy that, but also buy a ticket that includes the Nasrid Palace during the day.

Thank you so much for the reply. It would be much of help for me. One more thing, if i choose Alhambra general does it means i could also visit the garden? Because seems like it doesn't said so in the description. It only mentions about generalife. Are they the same thing? Or i need to buy another ticket for that? I am sorry for too many questions since this is my first time going there so i hope i could visit every places at Alhambra that worth every penny. Thank you.

This is so strange! We are going to the Alhambra the same day. I bought my tickets at the beginning of August. The calendar showed limited tickets for November, but I got the impression that it might be a computer glitch. I'm assuming you've checked and there is availability yet on the 9th? I was going to suggest to you that if you have any questions that don't get addressed on the forum, I used the "chat" function on the official Alhambra website. Their response time and answers were excellent.

And I do believe the ticket includes the gardens and everything. The time seems to apply to NASRID only.

Oh really! What a coincidence! 😁
Since last night the tickets is still available and hopefully it still does till today. Yeah i have use that chat but they said it only help in buying process only not this kind of questions. So i decided to have the opinions from others too which is much easier. Alright all my doubts have been cleared off. Thank you for the reply. It's really help me a lot.

The Generalife is the gardens so I believe there should be one ticket for both, it was when I went there in 2012. I didn't take a night tour and you really need the light to see the plaster and tile work with their amazing details and the fountain. What I recommend is people come early before their ticket time and tour the outside of the Alhambra, that way you can take your time when touring the Nasrid palace.

Talking about the timing, actually how long i could spent time there? And I am taking the 4.30pm session for the nasrid palace so at what time i should be there so that i could visit all the places before entering the nasrid palace?
