We are cruising with Viking and will be at a port in Terragona. Would like to spend a bit of time at a beach in Terragona end of September 2024. Any suggestions on how to get from Terragona Port to a beach. Also, I believe there is a festival there at this time, September 24, 2024. Any tips on this festival? Thank so much. jillj

Note spelling Tarragona, really there are not too many good beaches over there, it's more a working port town. The festival you are referring to is Santa Tecla, I believe the Castells (human towers) are the typical thing to see. Honestly I'd forget the beach, and experience Tarragona itself, explore the Roman ruins, wander the narrow medieval old town, and enjoy the unique festivities.
