Flying into Madrid in June with party of 5. Mostly mid to late 20's aside from parents. Was prepared to go to Mallorca for a 3 day weekend but now I'm thinking Canary islands(Ternerife or Palmas). Any thoughts would be welcome.
Mid 20s niece met up with two friends in Tenerife last August for a week and really enjoyed it. She did say there was an unexpected number of elderly German tourists on the beaches - I didn't ask how she had ascertained this. She has previously been to Ibiza and Mallorca and said she preferred Tenerife. From the photos lots of beach, pool and cocktails was involved.
Mallorca would be my choice. What are your interests?
I love the Canary islands. In fact I’m at the Gran Canaria airport—departing, unfortunately.
That said, for just a few days of sun and party I’d stick with Mallorca. Closer, easier, plenty to fill a few days.

The only thing unexpected about that would be seeing them in the summer. Retired Northern Europeans usually come here as winter “snowbirds”, and summers are more families.
My main concern is keeping the kids(24+) entertained😁. Flights to Mallorca from Barcelona would also be cheaper. So I'm leaning towards Mallorca.
