I will be traveling to Seville, Grenada, Cordoba, Madrid and Barcelona on my own. Other smaller towns with a group, so no need for independent transportation.
The RS guide shared a taxi hailing app, but I would like up to date views from recent travelers.
When not walking, or using Metros, I am satisfied taking cabs rather than uber where it seems more appropriate.
Is there one app for instance that works in all those cities?
I've never used an app in Spain; I just go to a taxi rank, or hail a taxi on the street.
You can pretty much walk all over Sevilla and Cordoba.
https://www.free-now.com/es-en/ is one of the apps for hailing a taxi (not uber!) in Barcelona. However, notice that the city has +11000 taxis, so it can be easier just to go to a main street and wait for an empty taxi passing by. Taxis in Barcelona are ALL painted in yellow and black and have a green pilot light on the roof, when it's on, the taxi is available. Simply hail it by raising your hand.
