Tapas bars/restaurants near Las Ramblas and or the Barri Gotic

I'd like a recommendation for a fun/traditional/non-touristy (do they exist in these neighborhoods) tapas bar for dinner on our first night in Spain. We'll be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary the first night we are in Barcelona and I know we'll be dead tired from traveling for 24 hours. However, I would like a fun place to eat near where we'll be staying, nothing fancy. We prefer fun bars with good, local seafood.

Thank you!

After arriving in Barcelona from US, we found a restaurant on La Rambles two blocks from our hotel that we ate at three nights in a row. After waiting 1 1/2 hour for table on the First night, we kept seeing food dishes that we hadn’t ordered, so went back the 2nd night (hostess recognized us) the third night we went back to repeat the tapas we loved (again recognized). So not like us to repeat any restaurant while traveling. Ciudad condal tapas bar on La Rambles.

We stayed at Hotel Granville, two blocks away. great hotel but ask for room not on the street (too noisy)! Especially with jet lag.

By the way that was our 30th anniversary trip in 2016. You will love Barcelona!!

You can try Bar Celta Pulperia. It's a Galician style seafood tapas bar that specializes in Galician Octopus (Pulpo a la Gallega). Another specialty is their Pimientos de Padron, which are apparently one of Rick Steves' favorite tapas (mine too!). They are sauteed green peppers that are usually mild, but every so often you get a spicy pepper. Bar Celta is a little more old school than the newer tapas bars, but it is still pretty popular with locals, they have two locations, one in the Barri Gotic and one in El Born.
