My sister and I are taking a cruise out of Barcelona in November. Can someone make some suggestions for lodging near the cruise port? We would love to stay in a family owned hotel as opposed to a big conglomerate owned facility. We are excited to meet and interact with local population. We are planning on arriving 2-3 days early do we can explore Barcelona, and would love to stay near the cruise Port. Thanks’. Kathy W

Some friends of mine stayed at Hotel Barcelona House when they took a cruise out of Barcelona. It’s near the port. They said, “ It was off Las Ramblas. In the old part of the city so it looks like an alley. It was very clean with helpful staff.”
