I'll be arriving at Barcelona Airport., would I be able to buy the T-Usual transport card there? Do i need to pay extra for suitcases?
My hotel is near metro Verdaguer/Diagonal, could I use the T-Usual card for this journey?
If I had to call an uber or take a taxi, how much would it cost from the airport?

From what I’ve read, the process of buying a T-usual Transit card is a time-consuming, tedious process that requires attaching a photo and also requires an Android phone that has NFC support. It’s not a process most visitors are inclined to want to deal with upon arriving at BCN Airport.
You can take the R2 Nord Renfe train from Terminal 2 to the Passeig de Gracia Transit station in central Barcelona. To reach the Verdaguer metro station from Passeig de Gracia, transfer to the L4 Metro Line in the direction of “Trinitat Nova” and the second stop will be Verdaguer.
Tickets are €4.60. Trains depart from BCN every 30 minutes and take 25 minutes to reach central Barcelona.

I think that’s only required if you want a digital card. If you use a paper card, you don’t. I’m just not sure whether I can buy this at the airport and whether it covers the trip into the city

A recent TripAdvisor post says- yes! You can buy the T-Usual Card at BCN Airport from machines at the Terminal 2 train station. Be sure to have a color copy of your Passport Photo page as your accompanying ID. If your flight arrives at Terminal 1, a free shuttle bus will take you to Terminal 2. From airport terminal 2, the train station is upstairs and on the other side of a bridge There are uniformed, bilingual airport employees at the train station who can help you buy the Pass from the machine and- Yes, it covers the R2Sud Train ride to the Passeig de Gracia transit station where you can transfer to the L4 Metro Line to reach the Verdaguer Metro station which is two stops away from Passeig de Gracia.
You also can buy the T-Usual Cards from the machines at the BCN Airport Metro station, but the Metro takes longer to reach Barcelona’s city center.
