Suggestions on semiprivate guides in Madrid granada cordoba seville and Ronda

Hi all, we are travelling on our own, but really like guided experiences in cities we visit. I am looking for recommendations for good and tried semiprivate guides who give 3 hour city tours covering history and archetecture. I am looking to spend around 150 euros for 2 people participating.

Madrid
Granada
Ronda
Seville
Cordoba
Tolledo
Segovia

Thank you

Have you looked on Trip Advisor yet? You will find listings for tours in all of those cities. Book directly with the companies though, through their own websites, don't use Viator or the Trip Advisor booking option.

The RS guide suggests tour guides for at least some of those cities. I know for sure there are suggestions for Sevilla and Granada

This is a question for Jo - why not book through Trip Advisor?

Because the tour companies have to pay a hefty 25% commission to Trip Advisor which also owns Viator. For many small companies, that is a pretty hefty fee. When you can book with the company direct, why would you use a re-seller?

Yes, I see your point. I realize a fee is appropriate since it is a way of getting the business exposure but 25% is high.

Tours by locals website?
Some of these cities also particite in the Global Greeters program...but calibre and perhaps focus will be different. Also they are free.

In Madrid, Federico Barroso (spainfred.com) is outstanding and highly recommended.
In Toldeo, Adolfo Ferrero (adolfo.ferrero@toledodelamano.com) is your man.
I met both of these guides while on the RS "Best of Barcelona and Madrid" tour.
Both are amazing!
