We enjoyed eating at Restaurante Alqahira Rincón (Egyptian/Middle Eastern food). The waiter was so helpful about what to order, not ordering too much, what made good combinations, etc.
One place I really wanted to go back to: Taberna El Gallo. I had a cheese salad to die for; the photo I took of it still makes me drool:) They give you complimentary lemoncello at the end of your meal. Great food (we had steak dishes -- I LOVE Spanish beef). Fun, personable staff.
For uber cheap and tasty Tex-Mex food: Tako Away Toledo. Beer is supposed to be consumed on premises but the place was warm and crowded, so the owner put our beer in Pepsi cups. We walked up a couple of blocks to a garden/park area with a view.
