Suggestions for after the best of Spain in 14 days

We are finishing our tour in Sevilla and flying back to the States from Madrid

We'd like to take a few days to explore on our own.
Is Toledo worth going back to ( we only spend one night with the tour)

Small towns recommended to see?

First time in Spain

Thanks for your suggestions

After Seville, take the train and go to Cordoba for 2 days to see the Mezquita. then train to Madrid, where you fly back.
I thought the time spent by the RS tour in Toledo was sufficient.
If you have more time, you might research places along the Costa Brava or the Costa Sol.

We stayed at the Las Casas de la Juderia de Cordoba.
Great hotel, 5 minute walk to the Mezquita.
Walking to/from restaurants and the roman Bridge and the callers de las Flores

took a taxi from the train station to/from the hotel.

If that's too pricey for you, look for a hotel near the Mezquita

Cordoba two nights. Reserve the next
Iota tour. Then train to Madrid and spend your last night at a hotel at the airport so you don’t ISS the flight home.

Another vote for Córdoba.

My mom and I enjoyed our stay at Hesperia Hotel Córdoba located across the Roman Bridge. Our room was comfortable and we paid extra for the delicious buffet breakfast. This was several years ago so YMMV.
Just make sure your room is not on the 3rd floor under the roof terrace. The metal chairs can be very noisy when trying to sleep.
