Hi:
We will be in Madrid, Granada and Seville in September. We have 5 nights in Madrid. Any suggestions on best day trip? I heard Segovia or Toledo. Can you do both in same day with a tour? Or is that too rushed.

If all you want to do is check a box and say you were there, then you probably could see both on a tour on the same day. Each town deserves at least a day.

Thank you yes I do not like to rush so your suggestion helps. Much appreciated. Ill definitely do 1 of the 2 depends on how much we want to see in Madrid. If we fee we have seen Madrid sufficiently then we may do 2 day trips otherwise ill choose 1. We have 5 nights in Madrid but the 1st day we arrive around 3 so that's just a dinner night.

It would be too much to try to do Toledo and Segovia on a one day tour. You need a full day in Toledo, that city is amazing, my favorite city in Spain.
You can do a day tour of Segovia that also visits Avila on a single day.

Too rushed. And keep in mind they are in almost opposite directions from Madrid.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We will do Toledo for a full day and then if we don't get to do another day trip we will save it for next time. We have 5 nights in Madrid so don't want to be too rushed so we have plenty of time to see Madrid.
