Hi. We are planning a family trip to Barcelona in February. We are wondering how stroller friendly is the Barcelona metro. Are elevators generally available? How about space on the subway cars. Will there be space for it?

Not too much to add beyond I would say that about 1 in 3 escalators in Spanish metro stations wasn't working when I was just here but Barcelona might beat that average.
Be prepared for out of order facilities but Spain is a very family oriented culture so I wouldn't be too worried about people being accommodating if you need it for obvious family reasons.
