I'm looking for small boutique hotels in northern Spain starting in A Corona in Galicia, then Bilbao, and ending in San Sebastian. It could also be a B & B if there are other guests so my wife and I weren't the only people there. Thank you Norman
I left dates out for my travel: I'll be in A Coruna end of April (4/25/23) and probably leave San Sebastian for short stay in Madrid around May 6.

What month are you traveling? The only time I have been the only resident in a B&B was in May in a tiny tiny (and I do mean tiny) town near Bilbao. Should not be an issue in SS or Bilbao. I always start with Booking.com for accommodation searches.
I am going to second booking.com. It is great to do research on and then you can book through the site or go directly to the hotel or B&B and book.

There are quite a few boutique hotel in the old quarter in Bilbao, they should be easy to find. As an alternative in the city center (distances are practically irrelevant in Bilbao), Hotel Lope de Haro or Hotel Carlton are classy hotels in beautiful buildings.
