SpTH form question

My family will be arriving in Spain on 28 May. My son is under 12 so I know he does not need a separate QR code/form. Do my husband and I need separate QR codes or just one for the "family?" The information online at spth.gob.es is a little confusing as the different options to click (individual vs group/family) bring me to the same page. TIA for the explanation!

As I recall, when you click you are doing a family, one person can fill in the form for everyone. However, you will receive separate QR codes for each adult. Every adult needs to have their own form going through passport control.

I've only done individual, but I've heard that it's easy to group them for the family.

My experience at two Spanish airports was that the health control/QR station was actually a separate stop after passport control and before baggage claim/customs.

What Connie said was correct. If using the app (that kept changing the dates on me) you’d need two separate individual forms. If using the family form on the website (worked perfectly) one person can add the information for everyone else. Each will get a separate QR code. Consider printing them out and saving a screen shot of them since you may not a get good signal in the airport. I also saved the PDF email attachments to “Books” on my phone. A friend of mine couldn’t get her email to come up and the health people accepted her CDC card. She and her husband are on their way to Valencia today.

In Spain, at Terminal 1 at least) you’ll pass through immigration then immediately pass the health screening people where you’ll show them each QR code. From there it’s on to baggage claim and the rest of your vacation. We haven’t needed to show it again. FYI masks have been optional everyplace we’ve gone and were optional on the aircraft. We got through immigration and the health screening quickly.
