It seems the influencers are really selling fear. Although, Rick has always warned against pick pocketers. What is everyone doing? Are tracking devices worth it? Are you using RFID cards in wallets etc?

I believe most of the card based trackers actually use bluetooth. RFID requires an active scanner and is very short range.

It's called 'Fear Mongering' - to literally sell fear. I would suggest ignoring those links!! Take the usual precautions. We travel the same way we always have, an eye on our stuff, relax, use the correct bag / tether etc for your personal needs. PS, I do have an RFID small wallet but that's just because it's small. And an Apple Air Tag on my keys & in my personal item & carryon. (Those can be read a long ways away. But frankly it's mostly so I can find my keys in the house!) Bon Voyage!
