I've been booking train passage for a Spanish trip fast approaching. Half of the carriers state the electronic ticket works. Others state print at home for a paper ticket.
It has me confused. Is an e-ticket sufficient for all trains? Ouigo and Renfe. Renfe states e-tickets. Ouigo states print at home.
Do I really need a paper ticket?

I'd follow the advice of the operator on which you book. I've taken Renfe trains loads of times with e-tickets, no problem. I've never taken Ouigo but would do what their instructions say.
