Spanish Immersion Course in Southern Spain

Hello everyone!
I want to do a 1-2 week immersion language course in Spain and I had no idea there were hundreds. MY head is spinning. I am 50 YO if that matters-very active.
I was thinking of Valencia. Which is best? Malaga or Valencia?
Has anyone doe one of these courses?
I am desperate for advice!
Thank you in advance!

Try Malaga,

Valencia is not so much in southern Spain, and there they also speak their own language called valencià in addition to Spanish so it may be confusing for you.

Malaga is a coastal city.

You can also look at Cadiz or up north to Santander.

Malaga seemed more central? Have you been?
I did not realize there are 23 schools there!
Perhaps I should just stick with that.

Look for a Spanish course that is accredited through the Instituto Cervantes.

I think there may be some confusion here. Malaga isn't at all central. Are you perhaps thinking of Madrid?
