Hi everyone! Heading to BCN this year and I find Spain to be the cheapest place to buy a data sim. I got a good deal on Vodafone, 10 EUR for like 50GB or 100GB of data.
My problem was the low data cap for when I used my sim in other countries. I think it was like 9 GB or something.
Are there other operators with higher data caps for EU roaming? This year I'll be heading from Spain to France then Italy.

You can usually add to your re it runs out or maybe buy another SIM card. I find that 10GB of data is way sufficient for three weeks in country using it like I do at home. That is using it even when in hotel room instead of their Wi-Fi and all the use of maps and looking things up while out and about in wherever I am.
How many days in total and do you need talk and text?
Maybe the policy has changed? The prepaid plans currently offered by Vodafone Spain make no mention of a data cap for roaming, and I traveled to Belgium/Amsterdam/Germany for almost three weeks in September and had no issues with my SIM from them.
Have you looked at esims from Airalo, since you seem to primarily need data? No roaming charges for other European countries (for the most part - you have to check). Plus you can set it up ahead of time.

We used holafly eSIM. It works great, but it’s just data…no telephone “minutes”. So we use WhatsApp for voice calling over the data stream.
