Spain over Thanksgiving

We want to maximize our days off by taking a trip to Spain over Thanksgiving, realizing it could be pretty chilly when we arrive in Madrid mid-November. We will have 11 days, leaving on the 12th day.
Can someone suggest the best itinerary for going to the following, taking trains from city to city:
- Madrid
- Toledo
- Seville
- Cordoba
- Granada
- back to Madrid to fly home.

And, if there is somewhere close to the above that we shouldn't miss?

We took this route and it might work for you as well. The following itinerary presumes that you'll have 12 nights, 11 days.

  • Arrive to Madrid and travel to Córdoba on day of arrival (2N)
  • train or bus to Granada (3N)
  • train or bus to Sevilla (3N)
  • AVE train to Madrid (4N)-- day trip to Toledo or Segovia.

Make sure to book your Alhambra tickets 3 months in advance.

Enjoy your time in Spain!

I like Priscilla's itinerary. My only adjustment would be taking 1-2 nights from Madrid and staying in Toledo after Sevilla.

It really depends on your flight times as to how you schedule Madrid in your plan - ie. first up, or last thing.
1. Arrive Madrid (4N)
2. Madrid
3. Day to Toledo
4. Day to Segovia
5. Train to Seville (3N)
6. Seville
7. Day to Cordoba-Mezquita
8. Train to Ronda (1N)
9. Train to Granada (2N)
10. Alhambra
11. Train to Madrid (1N)
12. Depart Madrid
