What Advance Reservations Should I Make for Visitng Spain in September

Visiting Madrid, Granada, Cordoba, and Seville Spain in September.

I have made reservations for the Alhambra.

Are there other sites I need to consider making advance reservations for?

Thanks

The Alhambra is the big one. When we did that route a couple of years the Alhambra was the only advance reservation we made. We used the trains with a senior card that got us discounts on walk up fares.

You'll get considerable discounts on train tickets the farther in advance you buy them. Once you're there, you may want to buy tickets a day or two in advance for a flamenco show, the Royal Stables in Cordoba, the TI's tour to Madinat al-Zahra in Cordoba.

If your itinerary is set, certainly you should take advantage of the large discounts on train travel. Google for one of the guides on RENFE.

We are visiting Spain and the same cities as you are in September plus Barcelona. I have pre-booked or bought passes for most of the attractions and activities in Barcelona but other than the Alhambra I haven't pre-booked for the other cities we are visiting. Based on my research it seems that there are fewer lineups at the main attractions in other cities such as the museums in Madrid. I have not been able to book train travel yet as the dates and options I wanted weren't available yet. I've been using Petrabax and Loco2 as recommended here, Seat 61, a website run by a former British Rail manager. It's extremely helpful and well worth perusing.

EDITED to add: I just checked and the train websites show all the options now.
