My family of 4 (children 14 & 12) are contemplating a Spain trip the week before Easter 2019 (Arrive April 12 and return Easter Sunday April 21). We have never been to Spain. Due to our length of stay and not wanting to be run ragged, we were thinking of focusing on Barcelona, Madrid and possibly Seville.
I was thinking of starting in Madrid (direct flight is available from our city) and finish in Barcelona.
2 Big Questions:
How many days in each location?
Something like?
Fri, Sat, Sunday Madrid
Monday train to Seville stay 2 nights
Wednesday train to Barcelona and depart to US on Sunday Morning
Are we crazy adding Seville with it being Holy Week? The little bit of reading says it is awesome, but really can add time and is viewed as a blessing and a curse.
Also, it looks like finding a hotel in Seville may be difficult as well. Thoughts, suggestions?
Your suggestions are much appreciated!
