Spain Beach Break between Granada and Seville

I'd like to add a nice beach break to our itinerary. We need to end our Spain portion in Seville (as we will get a direct flight to Portugal from there) and prior to that we plan to hit Granada. So trying to find a good Beach that makes logistic sense between the 2 places, and offers nice sand, amenities and hotels for an overnight and relaxing stay. La Barossa came up and sounds great, but wondering if that makes sense? Granada to La Barossa to Seville? Malaga also came up, but seemed a bit urban for the sort of beach experience we would like. We do not want a rocky city beach but rather something that feels more Mediterranean and offers hotels and restaurants. Another one suggested was El Palmar Beach/Costa de la Luz. I am at a loss!

Time of year will affect lodging prices. An hour south of Granada are Motril and Salobreña, but they may be to close to Granada to stop for a night. Then there’s the Costa del Sol that is full of condos.
That is followed by the Costa de la Luz has a number of nice beaches. I am unfamiliar with La Barrosa.

By the more inland direct route La Barossa is a little under 4 hours from Granada. Towns I’m familiar with, with nice beaches are Rota, Chipiona and San Lúcar de la Barrameda.

The beaches of Malaga city are not so pretty.

The Costa de la Luz (Atlantic Ocean) has the best beaches In the south (I think) and most of them are not built up with big hotels like the Costa del Sol.

El Palmar de Vejer would be great option; the beach is long, wide and sandy. Hotels are good but not luxury.

You could also look at Conil de la Frontera, Zahara de los Atunes and Canos de Meca.

For big luxury hotels near there, look at Novo Sancti Petri, near Chiclana, closer to Cadiz.

It's pretty easy to get from the Costa de la Luz to Sevilla.

One major factor: Will you have a rental car?
