Spain and portugal in 30 days.

Hi, (first time poster)

I have recently booked a trip to Portugal (Porto 4 nights, Lisbon 4 nights, and Albuferia 3 nights) and Spain (Sevile 3 nights, Granada 2 nights, Madrid 3 nights [weekend], Valencia 3 nights, Barcelona 5 nights [passes through a weekend].

This is basically my itinerary for my upcoming trip near the end of May (excluding trips out to Sintra, Portugal or Toledo, Spain). The basis of this trip is to mainly expeirence culture, food/wine/port, and see castles/momumental structures. I will be travelling mostly by train (bus from albuferia to seville) and a one-way plane to porto and from barcelona to england (where my trip continues).

I was wondering if this all seems feasible as a backpacking trip. I am more mainly worried about Spain since there are more cities involved and not too sure if im going through the best route to get to barcelona while balancing the places i visit as a way to see Portugal in 11 days ans Spain in 19 days.

ANY help or advice will be appreciated.

Thank you for taking your time out to read this,
Regards.

P.s. the only thing booked so far is my one-way flight to Porto, so far.

Right on. Way to go. Perfect. Have a blast. You'll love every minute of this trip.

Enjoy the great food, but the beer and wine just that little bit more. Live life to the full, that's my advice here.

All the best, and stay safe.

Cheers. David.

But just doing the maths and I come up a few nights short. If you have 30 days/29 nights then add an extra night to Seville and Madrid, allowing day trips to Cordoba & Jerez, plus Toledo & Segovia. Coimbra may be possible as a day stop while travelling between Porto and Lisbon.

Porto - 4 nights
Lisbon - 4 nights
Albuferia - 3 nights
Seville - 4 nights
Granada - 2 nights
Madrid - 4 nights
Valencia - 3 nights
Barcelona - 5 nights

Your plan looks feasible and in a logical order. Any of those transport routes will have several schedule options per day but probably fewest on the Portugal-Seville bus route.
