Spain 2 Weeks Itinerary

Hi. I am Rajesh Motwani from India. Planning to visit Spain from May 5 to May 20 this year. We are just 3 guys together . Need your help for planning itinerary.

Following is our rough plan though:

May 5-7 Madrid (Toledo, Segovia Or Salamanca pls suggest only one)
May 8-9 Seville (Cordoba Included)
May 10-12 Granada (Drive to Ronda and minimum one night at Marbella included)
May 13-15 Ibiza (Flight from Malaga)
May 16-19 Barcelona (Flight from Ibiza)
May 20 Early Morning Fly Back from Barcelona to India

We want to enjoy Spanish Adventure activities. food, beaches, villages, night life , festivals and culture. Only important must see historical places to visit.

Can you please suggest which place is the best for following activities:

  1. Bull Run/ Fight
  2. Flamenco
  3. Sky Diving
  4. Scuba Diving

Right now only all flights are booked including Ibiza. Need to plan internal travel and day wise itinerary if above plan satisfactory .

Your guidance will be highly appreciated.

You planned a very busy itinerary and I'm guessing you are traveling between cities by car which will take additional time. A few suggestions: Stay in Madrid the nights of May 5 and 6, then drive to Toledo and spend May 7 there. Skip Cordoba and Ronda and focus on Seville and Granada so you spend less time driving and more time enjoying. Good luck.

I think with too much on your 'wishlist' you will need to scrub Granada.

May 5-7 Madrid
May 8 Cordoba
May 9-10 Seville
May 11 Ronda
May 12 Marbella (or Malaga)
May 13-15 Ibiza (Flight from Malaga)
May 16-19 Barcelona (Flight from Ibiza)

Thanks for your replies.

After seeing your suggestions, I have amended to following itinerary taking in to consideration that we are reaching Madrid on 5th evening.

May 5-7 Madrid (Including Toledo)
May 8 Cordoba (Overnight in Seville)
May 9 Seville
May 10 Jerez Tarifa Gibraltar overnight in Marbella
May 11 Ronda from Marbella and back.
May 12 Granada (Nerja on the way)
Planning to book Alhambra General Entry 14:00 to 20:00 slot on May 12 and Nasrid Palace 22:00 in the night.
May 13-15 Ibiza (Flight from Malaga 13:30 pm)
May 16-19 Barcelona (Flight from Ibiza)
May 20 Early Morning Fly Back from Barcelona to India

Hope above itinerary looks OK. Do not want to skip Granada.

May 10 Leave Seville for Marbella via Ronda. Overnight in Marbella
May 11 Marbella
May 12 Leave Marbella for Granada (Nerja on the way). Overnight in Granada.

Please suggest me best place for activities like Flamenco, Bull Run, Sky Diving, Scuba Diving as per my above itinerary.

My suggestion is to skip a couple the Jerez Tarifa Girbralter and spend two nights in Sevilla. Also skip Ibiza (sorry) and spend another night in Granada and 2 more in BCN.

May 8 Cordoba (Overnight in Seville)
May 9-10 Seville
May 11 Leave Seville for Ronda.
May 12-13 Leave for Granada (Nerja on the way).
14 - Drive to malaga for BCN flight
May 14-19 Barcelona

Picking quantity over quality probaby won't result in a good vacation.
