Some of my friends and I want to tour Spain and Portugal together, but not on a big tour bus. We would have 2 weeks. What would the best itinerary be and should we use the train system and rent a car? Not sure where to start. This past summer we did China with just the 6 of us. All arrangements were made in advance and we had a guide meet us in each city to take us around. The price was very reasonable. We were wondering if there was something similar in Spain and Portugal. I definitely would like to see Barcelona, Madrid and the coastal cities in southern Spain and in Portugal, Lisbon, Fatima and any other city/town we would not want to miss. Are there travel agencies over there that work with Americans? Any ideas would be appreciated.
