Sevilla (not Sienna) as a Home Base from Barcelona

I am planning on spending 5 or so more days in Spain after a week in Barcelona the last week of November. We will fly out of Madrid but flexible. I really like to home base in a smaller and wonderful city and then take day trips from there. I need advice if I should go to other cities for 2 or 3 nights and move on to the next. We will take the train and won't have a car.

I have been reading the RS Spain guide and have followed his recent travels to Spain and now would like to ask all of you for your advice.

Thank you as always.

I don't know where you mean by Sienna ??
My suggestion would be...
Barcelona - 6 nts
Zaragoza or Valencia - 2 nts
Madrid - 4 nts

Seville is a great choice as there is excellent bus and train alternatives to utilize for day trips.

Day trip options from Seville include...
Córdoba
Jerez
Arcos de la Frontera
Cadiz

If you plan on spending time in, and making excursions from both Seville and Madrid, you would need to reduce your stay in Barcelona by a night or two.
