Side trips from Madrid and a good Air B n B in Madrid

I will be in Madrid next year ( May), any sugguestions on a 2 bedroom Air BnB, centrally located. Also, I want to take a side trip to Toledo and I know it's an easy train ride, are there other day trips from Madrid that you all could recommend? Cordova? Thanks, Peggy in Colorado

Segovia is another popular day trip from Madrid. The main attractions are the aqueduct, cathedral and palace. I actually enjoyed Segovia as much, if not more, than Toledo.

Spain has really cracked down on vacation rentals so make sure any apartment you stay in has a registration number listed on the website.

Segovia is another town close to Madrid. Main attraction is the aqueduct but the old town is worth seeing as well.

Cordova and Cuenca are both workable if you buy tickets on the speedy AVE train. However, those are likely to be very pricey if not bought early, so try to get your itinerary pinned down far enough in advance to grab one of the limited number of promo tickets available. Those tickets will be non-changeable and non-refundable.

Madrid, in particular, is setting up some convuluted requirements thst tourist apartments cannot share the same entrances to locals, so assume that a number of AirBnBs will disappear in the next few months. You may have some listing a city registered number and those should be more reliable for something 13 months from now.
Segovia, Avila, Cuenca. Therearealso some palaces with extensive gardens that eould be lovely in May.
