Has anyone been to the Nerja beaches lately? I have recently read that they have had a sewage problem since last year and that poop is floating in the ocean where people are swimming. The city is currently trying to clean up the problem but that it may take two years. We are planning on staying two nights with our children but certainly will change our plans if we can't go swimming. I'm just surprised that there was no mention of it in the travel books. If anyone knows of the current situation, I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
