We are planning to take a train from Seville to Madrid in late May. One of the suggested options is to stop over for the day in Cordoba vs. heading straight to Madrid. I have learned that the dates we will be traveling are the dates of the 2018 Cordoba fair.
Meanwhile, we have 4 nights in Madrid - but have to leave for our flight early the last morning.
My question is would you recommend stopping in Cordoba on a fair day or should we go straight from Seville to Madrid? We will need to find a place to store our luggage if we stop in Cordoba.
This will be our first trip to Spain so we've never been to either Cordoba or Madrid.
So our choices are:
Get to Madrid by mid day, and then spend 4 nights and 3 1/2 days in Madrid
or
Stop in Cordoba for the day (arrive in Madrid at night), and then spend 4 nights in Madrid but just 3 days.
Thanks for your thoughts.
