Seville to Jerez de la Frontera

Hi,

I will be in Seville July 12-15. I would like to take a day trip to Jerez and would like to book train tickets ahead of time. We are looking for the 13th but some trains are sold out. Any tips on finding a train ride ahead of time. Thank you.

Another option is to take the TG Comes bus to and from Seville to Jerez de La Frontera. The website doesn’t give an English option but we were able to book bus tickets from Tarifa to Seville—Jerez de La Frontera was one of the stops. I checked both Renfe and TGComes websites and it looks like the bus will take 15 minutes longer than the train.

It looks like there are just handicapped/limited mobility seats on some of their trains. There are quite a few available Renfe tickets available. You could always snag some cheap tickets now and if your plans change you won’t be out a bunch of Euros.

Sometimes the different bus companies will run a particular line for a different company so it would be good to check the bus terminal to verify the correct bus/company.

Thank you so much. I also found the website Monbus.es and it also has bus trips to Jerez De La Frontera.

Hello everyone,
Any food recommendations for our day trip to Jerez would be greatly appreciated as well.

There is availability on the trains from Seville San Bernardo station to Jerez on the 13th. Most trains to Jerez run from San Bernardo rather than San Justa station. Plus San Bernardo easier to get to from the center of Seville since it’s at the end of the tram line.

Is there a website where I can directly buy tickets for the Seville Cathedral and Alcazar?

Here is the link to the Seville Cathedral--it's in Catalan, but my browser (firefox) has a beta translator.

Here is the link to the Alcazar Sevilla

Was able to purchase tickets directly from them for our recently completed trip.
