Seems to be difficult to go from Seville to Brussels by train efficiently. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks. TC
Are you wanting to connect Seville and Brussels with a direct journey? Is stopping anywhere for a night possible with your itinerary? Is a relatively quick, relatively inexpensive flight a possibility?
FLY...........
Cyn, Prefer not to fly if possible. Stopping overnight somewhere along the way is not out of the question. Any ideas? TC
By train, the route with fewest connections makes those changes at Barcelona and Paris, each very worthwhile destinations. An alternate route changes at Madrid, Hendaye (border town near St. Sebastian) and Paris.
How to Look Up Train Schedules and Routes Online gives you the DB train schedule link and tips for using it. Flying is cheaper as well as faster for this route; see www.skyscanner.com.
Rick’s Train Travel Time & cost Map gives you an overview of faster trains at regular, 2nd-class fares. Advance-purchase discounts are also available, or a rail pass could cover 5 or more long train rides.
Sevilla - Barcelona AVE 3943 departs 0850, arrives 1425.
Barcelona - Paris AVE 9706 departs 1625, arrives 2246.
Metro from Gare de Lyon across Paris to Gare du Nord for an overnight hotel

Your advice is appreciated. Thanks for the suggestions. Now to do some in depth research. TC
