Seville reccomemdations

Just arrived in Seville and WOW!! This city is amazing. Just stunning, we have never seen anything like it. We are staying in the Santa Cruz area and you can't get here by car which is very cool! Can anyone recommend restaurants here? We have 2 teens with us so larger portions and more on the casual side are better.

Thank in advance,
Kristalynn

My advice would be to look for the traditional tapas bars, where old men congregate, and with lots of discarded toothpicks/napkins on the floor. Do a lot of pointing, and order with "dos, por favor" - a plate for you to share, and one for the teens.

Before departing for Seville, I did my research and added pins and notes of restaurants to my custom map. Not only did I find great food, but getting to them led me to off the beaten path neighborhoods. These two sites were extremely helpful, but I did not take their tours. Many of their recommendations were not "reviewed" at TA, and not frequented by the tourists.

Our favorite authentic tapas in Sevilla is at La Antigua Bodeguita on Plaza San Salvador right across from the church by the same name. My mom and I ate there three days in a row!
This place gets busy and crowded with locals and the food is delicious ;-)

Enjoy your time in Spain!
