Seville on a Sunday and entertainment ideas

Hello
I was told that Seville closes down on Sundays. Would it be a good idea to go to Cordoba on that day, on a tour? Or any suggestions?
Can we see a Flamenco show? Any suggestions on where to go to see Flamenco show?
We are looking into different entertainment for Madrid and Seville

I was told that Seville closes down on Sundays.

What does that mean?
The blockbuster tourist sites like the Royal Alcazar and the Cathedral are open on Sunday (except if Sunday happens to be on a major holiday like Xmas New Years Day etc).
There are Flamenco shows every night in Seville.
I used this website to buy tickets to shows in Seville and Cordoba from my hotel room.

Read the reviews and buy when you get there and not in advance. Try to stick to just the shows that have drinks and avoid dinner shows.

In small town and village Spain, most things close on Sunday, including grocery stores. Restaurants seem to be closed on either Monday or Tuesday.

However, major tourist attractions seem to be open every day.

So in other words, restaurants, museums and shops are open on Sundays in Seville? If you watch travel shows on youtube they say it’s all closed but restaurants

Refer to Nick’s response. He lives there. If he says things are open, there’s no reason to doubt what he says.
