Seville Itinerary Questions

We are coming to Seville late on Saturday, May 3rd and leaving by car on Wednesday, May 7th.

Please advise how to spend these days the most efficient and pleasant, considering the fact that we are planning to go to Cordoba from Seville for a day trip and would like to see the April's fair.

First Option:
Sunday - tour Seville;
Monday - go to Cordoba (but some sights are closed in Cordoba on Monday),
come back to Seville and go to Fair to see the Fair lighting at midnight;
Tuesday - tour Seville/go back to the Fair

Second Option:
Sunday - go to Cordoba for a day;
Monday - tour Seville and go to the Fair;
Tuesday - still in Seville

I just realized that there is Cordoba Patio festival starting May 5th. Would we be able to see anything on Sunday, May 4th?

We don't have any experience planning around Seville's April Fair, but would love to experience that! Most of Seville's attractions are open daily, with shorter hours on Sundays. See also the list on pages 672-3 of Rick's Spain book for a summary of open times, or confirm locally with the Tourist Office.
