I've been to Seville but DH has not. As part of a Portugal Algarve trip it would be fairly easy to spend a night or two in Seville. I'm just wondering how extreme the heat is that time of year. We live in Arizona so are used to hot weather, but heat with humidity is different. Interested in your experiences that time of year. Thanks!
I was in Sevilla September 11-13th last year.
It was about 90 peak temperature every day. But, it wasn't particularly humid and it was in the 60s-70s in the morning. We just went to our hotel pool for the peak temperature hours and the heat was a non-issue.
Coincidentally, I also live in Arizona so my feeling is that you will be unfazed after surviving this summer.
My last visits to Andalucía in September and October, 2011 and 2014, it was into the 90s every day. Every year is different.
I agree with the others, expect a peak of 90 or low 90's. Humidity is not usually too bad, that is a drier part of the year, though this year has been wetter than most.
From the Algarve, there are direct buses, no trains, (unless you have a car), we took the one from Tavira, which I believe originated in Faro.
I’ve done this trip many times from The Algarve by both car and bus. I generally take the bus from Portimao or Faro, depending on where you’re staying in the Algarve. The buses are well priced, comfortable and mostly reliable.
