Has anyone stayed at Hotel Amadeus or Hotel Las Casas de El Arenal in Seville? I'm trying to decide between the two so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. If it helps, I have booked a double room in the main building at Amadeus and a double room at Hotel Las Casas de El Arenal. Both have great reviews online. Thanks!
My mom & I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amadeus (4N) this past October.
We also spent one night at Hotel Fernando III, just a few yards away from Hotel Amadeus ( due to no vacancy @ Amadeus Hotel)
Hotel Fernando III also has good reviews, & if we return to Sevilla, would stay there again.
Both of these hotels had friendly service, clean & comfortable rooms.
We chose not to eat the breakfast at either of these hotels, but found a café nearby with good food for much less
than what the hotels charge.
If you need some laundry done, you can walk to the tiny self-serve laundromat & pay half what the hotel (Amadeus)
charges. You can also drop off your laundry & pick it up later (the same day, or the next day) for the same price as self serve.
Send me a PM if you need more information about the laundromat or anything else.
Enjoy your trip!
We stayed in Amadeus over New Years a couple of years ago. Our son and girl friend stayed in the annex. Both equally nice. Really nice roof top garden/patio on top of the annex. That is where we had our New Year's eve dinner. Breakfast and location were very good. Certainly would stay again.
I like staying in the Juderia and I like the Amadeus. Hotel Las Casas de El Arenal looks to be in a good location too.
Thanks! It's good to hear that people liked Almadeus, although from what I read it sounds like the La Musica building is much nicer. I think Hotel Las Casas may be newer so not as many people have stayed there, it's aout $120 cheaper than Amadeus
Stayed in Hotel Amadeus a couple of May's ago. Unless they have raised prices, rooms were from 110-130 Euros which would be 120-140 USD today. Very nice hotel with a roof top bar and spa, if you desire. Not sure what you mean when you say Amadeus is "$120 more".
I've stayed in both a middle-floor double and, for a splurge, the penthouse at Amadeus. It's not just that the space is great and the common areas enchanting, the staff are also great resources (if you chat a little so they get to know your interests). The penthouse has a spa tub and its own tiny patio table where they will serve breakfast, but the rooftop is even better when the morning is clear and still cool enough. I usually skip breakfast at the hotel to get out and moving quickly, but the rooftop dining there is a delight, and I've met interesting guests every time.
Have the desk help you with show and dining reservations -- they get a kickback but the prices are not any higher for you, and it puts you further into their good graces, and depending on the arrangement could save you from a scrum at a busy spot like the Arenal.

ED, Amadeus is $120 more than Arenal. For 4 nights, Amadeus is $654 and Arenal is $535.
