Seville hotel location?

Our group of 11 will be coming for Holy Week 2024. I am looking to possibly book the Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla, for many reasons, one of which being that they have rooms that can comfortably sleep 4. It is our first time in Seville and I am curious of people's opinion of the location? Many thanks in advance!

The location is not bad. Not sure how you are arriving, but the location of the train station in Seville means bus or taxi to any well located hotel. The Radisson is in the town center, but North of most attractions. As I recall, lots of bars and restaurants in the area, plus shopping.

Out of curiosity, when I look at rooms for 4, that does bump you up to a two bedroom suite, which costwise, is more than two separate rooms. Not sure if you had priced rooms in Seville, but you are in the upper range of cost there.

Thank you so much, I am greatly appreciative of your response, these boards are so valuable! Yes, you are completely correct and we usually book two rooms instead of a suite (because of the cost savings) but this particular suite has a terrace which we think might be worth the splurge :)

Not sure if it interests you, but there are grandstands by the Cathedral for VIP seated viewing of the processions. Look into this?

I did not know you could buy grandstand tickets, thank you for that information. I knew that we needed to splurge on this one and since we are brining my 82 year old father I booked a private balcony and guide for viewing. Praying for good weather :)

Hi mkkoehl, if you can afford it, the Radison hotel in the Plaza de la Magdalena, may be the best place to stay in Seville at Easter.

Just keep in mind that the streets will be crowded, but you will have the opportunity to experience the Holy Week like never before.

Thank you so much for responding. Do you mind expanding on why it is the best place to stay during Holy Week? Is it the best location?
