We added 3 days in Seville to the end of our fall Spain trip, and had to book a 6:30 AM flight to get back to the states. There is a connection thru Madrid, where I assume we would go thru customs. We would be heading to the airport at 3 or 3:30 AM I guess…are taxis an issue at that time?

Pre order one through your hotel. Or through booking.Com. We had to travel at 6am from Toledo to Madrid for a flight home. We used transporte coyoacan Spain. We also used Zonetranfers.Com from Cordoba to Toledo. We would have had to transfer in Madrid with a layover. The private transfer was better time wise.

Whatever amount of time you think you will need going thru the Madrid airport double it. It takes me at least 3 hours walking fast and swerving around slower moving folks. This is a large, slow-moving airport, with multiple security checkpoints. Since your flight is so early out of Madrid I would consider an evening flight out of Seville and a hotel room at the Madrid airport. Glad to hear you added days to Seville, such a lovely city. J

We are flying out of Seville to Madrid at 6:30 AM. Our connection to US is Madrid. I am thinking we can book transportation in advance thru hotel. We did that in France this spring and it worked great.
