Seville Cathedral Rooftop

Hi there,

Hoping someone can please point me in the right direction. I've read how fabulous the Seville Cathedral rooftop is at sunset but am having the hardest time figuring out how to book it. I've visited the official site: https://catedraldesevilla.entradasdemuseos.com/ but it looks like the Rooftop tour is only available to book 30 days in advance and that evening times aren't available (at least not in the next 30 days). We'll be in Seville the week of April 5th and prefer to have all bookings in place sooner than later. If you've be on the rooftop for sunset/evening, can you pls advise how to book tickets? THANK YOU :)

Unfortunately you are out of luck. They later tour times which encompass the sunset don't start until June. There are just morning tours from October - May. I took the morning tour in November and thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide was knowledgeable, the views were great, and it was cool to walk around the nooks and crannies of the roof. Enjoy your trip!

If the sunset tour isn’t available I would still recommend doing the tour. It was an amazing experience walking on the roof and seeing the cathedral inside on the way up to the roof from a bird’s eye view. On the rooftop, our guide pointed out these little mushroom type concrete tops. It turned out they cover holes that were used to vent all that candle smoke back in the day! We were able to kneel down and peek through the hole to see the cathedral floor. At the end of the tour you will be allowed to go inside the cathedral so make sure to bring your RS guidebook so you can have a reference for looking around.

We had a great time on the rooftop tour! As you found, tickets are released 30 days in advance but availability wasn’t a problem for us in October. I believe the English tour is only available on Saturday and Sunday however.

I am also planning on visiting the rooftop of Seville's Cathedral. My visit will be in April, and the current ticket options from the official website only show availability through March. It looks like the tours are once a day; 10am for Spanish and 1030am for English. I have not found additional hours when playing around with a number of different days of the week in different months. Perhaps there will be more options during the high season.
