Seville Cathedral/Bell Tower & Rooftop Tour tickets/times

***Edited 2/16/26 to add response to an email I sent asking if the Rooftop Tour ticket included entrance to Cathedral.

"Good afternoon
The visit to the roofs does not include the visit to cathedral and tower, only that when you go down yo can ask for permission to the guide to let you in, always in visiting time.
What you can not do is go out and come in again.
Kind Regards,"

I'm working on my Seville itinerary today and though I'm not yet able to purchase my combo ticket for the Seville Cathedral/Bell Tower and another ticket for the Rooftop Tour, I can see the times available. It looks as though the only time for the rooftop tour in English is at 1030am each day, and the tour lasts 1.5 hours.

That means I cannot enter the cathedral for the first slot of the day as I won't have enough time. I was hoping to beat the crowds. Fortunately the rooftop tour is limited to 25 persons, if I'm correct. I would be done with the rooftop tour at noon, but don't feel that's a wise time to visit the cathedral. I can opt for a late afternoon visit, they close at 6pm, or first thing the following morning. My Airbnb is just a 6 minute walk from there.

I'd be most appreciative for input from those who've done these visits/tours. Thanks in advance!

What is the official link for the Seville Cathedral/Bell Tower Tours. ? Can someone post it?

First of all - thank you for starting this topic - perfectly timed for us! We're also about to book tickets for the rooftop tour at Seville's Cathedral in May, and would opt to visit the church and tower right after the tour. So, I'm reading the email response (from the cathedral?) to mean that if we buy tickets for the rooftop tour at 10:30, and we tell the guide at the end of our tour that we would like to go into the church, we will not need to purchase a separate ticket to enter at that time. Am I getting that right? I also assume that we can then purchase the audio guide which RS recommends for the Cathedral and Tower once we get in?

Thanks again for all the help!

Sue and Scott, you are welcome. And TexasTravelMom thank you for that link that provided more details about the Seville Cathedral Rooftop Tour, and also a wealth of other fantastic information that I found helpful for my upcoming trip.

General tickets for the Cathedral/Giralda are now available for April dates, the April calendar has not yet been opened for the rooftop tour option. I check several times a day, as I'll only have two full days in Seville and this is a must do for me. I don't want to miss it.

We purchased separate tickets because the website is confusing. We took the 9:45 am Rooftop tour in February, 2025. We were still in the cathedral when the tour ended. So we could have toured the cathedral on our own at that time, but I don't know if we could have picked up the audio guides at that time. When we returned the next day for our 10:45 slot, we spent over 2 hours with the audio guide. The cathedral is huge and wasn't too crowded. We were glad that we planned two visits. I highly recommend the audio guide.

Cindyeb, I am leaning towards doing the same. I have no problem paying for two separate tickets. The rooftop tour would end at noon, and I'm thinking that the cathedral may be busier at that time. I could purchase a general admission with audio guide ticket for an earlier or later time on the same day or the day of my Alcazar visit/upper rooms tour. I don't want to rush through the site.

I see no reason why noon wouldn’t be a good time to visit the cathedral. It’s busy most of the time.

Thank you, Cindyeb - yes, it sounds like our best choice will be to book the rooftop tour - go and enjoy it, and then book a different time to tour the cathedral and tower with the recommended audio guide. There are plenty of other things we want to do with our days in Seville. You've all been very helpful, and we'll look forward to seeing this beautiful city.

NNV - best wishes for your April trip!
Thanks to all.
