Seville>Caminito Del Rey>Granada question

On our transfer day from Seville to Granada I am considering renting a one-way car vs a train and doing the Caminito Del Rey on the way. I know this will be long day but just curious if the info Google Maps is giving me is correct as it often leads me astray with time allotments. Seville to Caminito Del Ray around 2 hrs and then approximately 1hr45min onward to Granada sound about right (might stop by Antequera on the way)?
Thanks

Those times are fairly accurate, but don’t take into consideration any stops, traffic, construction, or wrong turns. If you’ve never driven in Spain before you should add some time to those estimates. You also need to take into consideration the time it will getting back to your vehicle when you’ve finished the walk. Then, there’s getting turned around leaving Sevilla and finding the vehicle return location in Granada. Regarding time, Antequera is a wildcard since you have no idea how long it will take to see what you’d want to see.

To save some time, bookmark the places you want to visit, parking locations, and the rental car return location to whichever navigation system you’ll be using so you can go straight to them. I use Google maps and it has worked well.
