I'll be in Seville for my birthday next month. I'm traveling solo.
I'd love to find a fun place to celebrate. Not necessarily a high-end restaurant (though I'm not opposed to that), but preferably something with good food, friendly servers, and a festive atmosphere.
Any ideas?
I visit Seville on my own pretty often. One place I always include is Azotea. Make sure you go to the Azotea at C/Jesus de Gran Poder, north of the center but easy walk. (They have at least one other branch)
Book in advance. My last visit to Seville, for about 8 days, I ate there three times.
I also enjoy La Azotea, and will be heading back soon.
Alternatively you could try Postiguillo. The atmospheres is lively and I often see people dining alone. The menu differs from the usual tapas. Reserve or arrive early.
