Is it best to take the train or bus from the Seville airport to Granada? Thanks.

In terms of cost, the ALSA bus will be better. Save money and take the bus. In terms of comfort, the train may be 10% better if your rear end starts hurting and you want to stand for a few minutes on the train.
I took flights to Madrid, from there the train to Seville. After Seville I took the ALSA bus to my second city, Granada. The bus worked ok. It was a nice modern tour bus. The trip from Plaza de Armas was about 3 hours; the given time was 3 hours. From the airport you will have to take a local bus to the bus or train station. Check google maps. On google maps, in the starting box, enter seville airport. In the ending box, type Granada. click options, check only the box marked "bus" to see bus schedules. Check only the box marked "train" to see train schedules, but check the websites of ALSA and RENFE to confirm actual times in case google hasn't adjusted to the latest bus or train schedules. The bus is only a few minutes slower. The train goes faster but in a rather indirect route. The bus goes in slower but in a rather direct route on the highways.
